1. Introduction

Piccozone School (school.piccozone.com) is a multi-tenant SaaS School Management Platform developed and operated by Piccozone Technologies, based in Greater Noida, India. The platform provides comprehensive school management services including the Piccozone School Website (SaaS platform for school administration) and the Piccozone School App (mobile application for students, parents, and employees to access school services). By accessing the platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Nature of the Platform

Piccozone School is a professional school management system designed for educational institutions. It serves as an administrative and academic management tool for authorized school staff, students, and parents. Key features include student information management, attendance tracking, fee management, academic records, transport management, homework assignments, timetable scheduling, communication tools, and reporting. Access is restricted to authenticated users belonging to registered educational institutions.

3. Definitions

• Platform: All Piccozone School services including web application and mobile apps.
• School App: The mobile application for students, parents, and employees.
• User: Any individual who accesses or uses the platform services.
• Subscriber: An educational institution that has purchased a subscription plan.
• Tenant: An organization (school/institution) using the platform with its own isolated data environment.
• Administrator/Staff: Authorized personnel managing the school on the platform.
• Student/Parent: End-users accessing academic and administrative information.
• Content: All data, records, and materials uploaded or generated on the platform.
• We/Us/Our: Piccozone Technologies.

4. Eligibility

The platform is intended for use by educational institutions and their authorized members. School administrators must be 18 years or older. Students and parents may access the platform under the supervision and authorization of their respective educational institution.

5. Account Registration & Access

Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Authentication is conducted via email/password or OAuth providers (Google, Microsoft, Apple). Users must maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to their accounts.

6. Subscription Plans & Payments

All pricing is denominated in Indian Rupees (INR). Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Subscriptions may be billed monthly or annually as per the chosen plan. We reserve the right to modify pricing with prior notice. Services may be suspended for failed or overdue payments.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

Users are prohibited from:

• Uploading false, misleading, or fraudulent data
• Using the platform for any illegal purpose
• Violating intellectual property rights
• Attempting unauthorized access to the system or other tenant data
• Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Scraping, harvesting, or extracting data from the platform
• Sharing login credentials with unauthorized persons
• Disrupting or interfering with platform services

8. Data Ownership & Licensing

Educational institutions (tenants) retain full ownership of their data including student records, academic information, and administrative data. By using the platform, tenants grant Piccozone Technologies a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and store their data solely for the purpose of providing the platform services. Data management and accuracy remain the responsibility of the respective educational institution.

9. Intellectual Property

Piccozone Technologies owns all intellectual property rights in the platform, including its software, design, branding, and documentation. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without prior written consent from Piccozone Technologies.

10. Service Availability & Modifications

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the platform with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance whenever possible.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time. Upon termination, access to the platform will be revoked, and data will be retained as legally required or as specified in the data retention policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in subscription fees during the preceding 12 months. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Piccozone Technologies, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from their use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
